At the joint booth of the Industry 4.0 Platform at HANNOVER MESSE 2026, project partners from research, industry, and software development will showcase key components of the research project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
The exhibition focuses on two physical demonstrators: a deep-drawing press and a mini wheel loader. In addition, the Fluid 4.0 research project will present the current state of development of its work and demonstrate the successful integration of digital solutions into fluid technology systems and components. Project partners from research, industry, and software development will be represented on site, including: Bosch Rexroth, VDMA, Fraunhofer IIS, IQstruct, :em engineering methods, CFLab, and Fluidon.
The Fluid 4.0 research project is nearing its conclusion. As part of a two-day closing event, the Fluid 4.0 Symposium will take place on June 29, 2026, as a public event at the VDMA in Frankfurt am Main. The program includes presentations and keynotes on topics such as digitalization and AI, practical examples from OEMs, and insights into the project results, with a strong focus on the benefits of digitalization for competitiveness—including in an international context. This will be followed on June 30, 2026, by the internal closing event, which external interested parties can attend virtually. The Fluid 4.0 project has been running since January 2024 and is scheduled to end in July 2026.
