Applications are open to all companies and institutions from Germany and abroad, and close on 12 March 2018. Each participating organization can nominate only one candidate.

The award carries 5,000 euros in prize money and will be presented to the winner during the opening session of the WoMenPower conference on 27 April 2018. Applications are free of charge. The 2018 Engineer Powerwomen will be selected from among the nominations by an independent jury made up of members of the WoMenPower conference advisory committee.
