Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection opens LightCon conference

The presence of high-ranking politicians at LightCon and the assumption of patronage by Federal Minister of Economics and Climate Protection Dr. Robert Habeck underscore the great importance of lightweight construction technology for the development of Germany as an industrial location. Opening speakers include Parliamentary State Secretary Michael Kellner at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection and Olaf Lies, Minister of Economics of the State of Lower Saxony.

LightCon: strong conference program for the top issue of energy and material scarcity

Under the conference motto "Lightweight construction. The answer in times of energy and material scarcity", the international lightweight construction community will meet here. The core element is a conference stage, which will be integrated into the exhibition for the first time. Speakers will present their lightweight innovations and solutions on this stage. The following lightweight construction topics will be discussed: "Sustainable Materials", "Circular Economy", "Efficient Production" and "New Energy Solutions". The conference language of LightCon is English.

The international industry meeting place for lightweight construction

LightCon is the first international lightweight construction platform that combines the dimensions of material, process, function and design. In addition, the focus is on solutions for all user sectors of lightweight construction. LightCon is thus the first trade fair to enable a direct comparison of different materials and processes. In addition to the exhibitors, the trade visitors will include designers and developers from the user industries: Automotive and vehicle construction, mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, medical technology and the construction industry.

Tickets

The trade visitor ticket costs 189€. Reduced day tickets are already available for 25€ (for pupils, students, trainees, persons with a disabled pass, the voluntary military service (Bundeswehr) and the federal voluntary service).
