The Deutsche Messe Technology Academy organises the transfer of practical knowledge in production technology throughout the year. Together with the Future Alliance for Mechanical Engineering, the Academy is organising the 5th annual conference "Artificial Intelligence in Industrial Production" on 5 September. This will show medium-sized industrial companies how they can score points in international competition with intelligent products and services.
Experts and practitioners discussed how AI tools can increase customer value and efficiency, reduce costs and accelerate the market maturity of products at the event in the centre of the exhibition grounds. Leading exhibitors at HANNOVER MESSE are involved in the annual conference - including Siemens, HARTING, KPMG, the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), Fraunhofer IEM, LNI 4.0 and asvin. HANNOVER MESSE is a partner of the annual conference.
The presentations and discussions at the event will focus on the strategy and practice of implementing AI in industrial production. One of the central topics is organisational and personnel development, as existing organisational structures and requirement profiles need to be adapted for the use of AI. Changes to processes must be organised in a fair and socially responsible manner. Professional employer branding is also necessary for recruiting and retaining young AI talent.
