As a proof of concept, the Brits converted a 1970 DB6 MkII Volante to electric power. The components for the electric powertrain are largely contained in an EV cassette. According to Aston Martin, this ensures the car can also be restored to its original condition, preserving its authenticity as a mobile collector’s item and retaining its historical value.
