ads-tec Energy GmbH from Nürtingen has set itself the task of taking the technological lead in the development of decentralized and intelligent energy platforms, then producing them itself and supporting them over long periods of time so that its clients can concentrate fully on their own core business and their end customers. ads-tec primarily sees energy suppliers, charging infrastructure operators and infrastructure providers as partners. The aim is to provide them with the best possible support in the form of hardware, software and services so that they can operate in the respective markets and regions. The Swabians see their intelligent platforms as more than just components; rather, with their high level of functionality, they form the basis for the optimal operation of complex local services. These include peak load capping, grid services, the integration of renewables and maximum-speed charging of electric cars on power-limited grids.

The nomination for the eleventh Green Product Award now also serves as proof of the company's expertise. More than 1500 participants from 54 countries applied for the award. Among them was ads-tec Energy GmbH with its "ChargePost" development. This is a battery-buffered rapid charging station that enables electric vehicles to be charged within minutes, independent of the power grid. Thanks to the integrated battery storage system, energy from the existing power grid can be stored continuously. As soon as a vehicle needs to be charged, this can be done with a charging capacity of up to 300 kilowatts, regardless of the power available from the grid. By integrating a PV system, the self-generated electricity can also be used for charging, which makes the solution particularly sustainable.

After being assessed under the aspects of design, innovation and sustainability, the best submissions were finally nominated for the Green Product Award - including the "ChargePost" in the mobility category. "ChargePost is a good example of the level of creativity and passion with which our nominees are contributing to a more sustainable future," said Nils Bader, Director of the Green Product Awards, commenting on the selection. The nominees will find out whether they have won the award at the big awards ceremony in Berlin in April.
