At this year's highly successful HANNOVER MESSE, the company unveiled a range of cutting-edge comprehensive energy-saving solutions that are set to be integrated into smart and, first and foremost, "green" cities. Besides its IoT-based Building Management Platform and lighting solutions, Delta showed off its IP surveillance equipment, EV charging solutions, battery energy storage systems and solar energy PV inverters.

Thanks to the technological expertise of two of its subsidiaries, LOYTEC and Delta Controls, Delta's IoT-based Building Management Platform exhibits unprecedented compatibility with all protocols commonly used in building control systems, including BACNet, DALI, KNX, Modbus, EnOcean, OPC and LonMark. This enables the state-of-the-art platform to comprehensively control lighting, elevators, energy generation systems, charging stations for electric vehicles, HVAC systems and refrigeration technology. High-risk aspects such as building security will also be covered in the near future. Also on show for the first time was the company's retrofittable IoT-based connected lighting solution, which - thanks to the simple installation of an IoT module compatible with Delta's LED lighting - is designed to pave the way for wireless connectivity and data analysis in industrial applications.
