In the area of compressed air technology, the demand for networked systems is also increasing. The cooperation with optiMEAS should allow the Neuss-based company Beko Technologies to extend its product range in future to include solutions from the field of mobile, Internet-based data recording, automation and tracking and monitoring applications. Within the framework of an initial project, the two companies have already equipped a compressed air dryer with a monitoring system to allow integration into the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and the cloud.
This not only makes monitoring of operating statuses such as the operating time and opening cycles of the valves possible, but also transmission of measurement values and wear data to the cloud. Real-time processing allows subsequent visualization. In addition to equipping existing products, the partners are planning joint development of entirely new ranges for the digital factory. OptiMEAS is already in use in numerous other industrial areas and provides, among other things, analytical and remote maintenance systems for concrete pumps and special software for measurement devices for monitoring voltages, currents and charges.
