The WALTHER-PRÄZISION division of Carl Kurt Walther GmbH & Co. KG - based in Haan in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia region - has been developing, manufacturing and supplying quick coupling systems for efficient connection of fluid-carrying and electrical lines since 1951. WALTHER-PRÄZISION is at HANNOVER MESSE 2017 to demonstrate the various features of the brand new DD quick coupling series, which is specially designed for use in high-temperature chemical applications, hydraulic applications with high thermal loads, synthesis processes and special areas of the petrochemical sector. Its trade fair presentation also focuses on the tried-and-tested clean-break quick couplings in the CN series.
Equipped with mechanical coding or RFID initiators, the CN quick couplings reliably eliminate mix-ups of lines with aggressive or harmful media, and the serious consequences associated with these, enabling error-free, safe and fast separation and connection. The advanced clean-break technology minimizes residual leaks during separation and the entry of air during coupling. The robustly designed mechanical guides of the CN couplings offer easy handling for coupling and, using a swivel-mounted connecting piece, reduces wear of the media interface caused by hose torsion. WALTHER-PRÄZISION also offers ring grips to further enhance the ergonomics.
