As recently announced, adesso SE, one of Germany's leading IT service providers, has joined the Siemens Digital Industries Software partner program to expand its technology portfolio with market-leading software solutions from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio in the areas of CAD, PLM, MES, and IIoT. This positions adesso as a strong integration partner for digital transformation in the manufacturing industry. The aim of the partnership is to support industrial companies in their digital transformation with holistic solutions – from product development and production to operation in the IIoT.

Both partners bring complementary strengths to the table: Siemens Digital Industries Software offers market-leading software solutions for CAD, PLM, MES, and IIoT, while adesso SE brings extensive experience in IT/OT integration, system architecture, and process consulting. This puts adesso SE in a strong position to simplify, accelerate, and optimize the introduction and use of digital technologies for customers, initially in the DACH region.

According to its own statement, adesso has extensive IT/OT expertise and is one of the few IT service providers that can offer machine connectivity, MES/IIoT integration, ERP connectivity (e.g., SAP), and cloud expertise from a single source. In projects such as the one at Flender GmbH in Bocholt, the company has already demonstrated its technological and industry expertise and successfully integrated end-to-end process chains from CPQ to PLM and CAD to MES and ERP.

As a system integrator, adesso will work with Siemens Digital Industries Software to develop customer-specific solutions based on the comprehensive Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, which includes software such as Designcenter NXTM (CAD, CAM, CAE), Teamcenter for product lifecycle management (PLM), OpcenterTM for MES (manufacturing execution software), and Insights HubTM (IIoT). This collaboration will enable industrial companies to design their digital processes in a consistent and future-proof manner.
