Erhardt+Leimer is an internationally oriented group of companies headquartered in Stadtbergen near Augsburg. The company specializes in applications for systems that process products on webs and belts. These include, for example, sensors, inspection systems, and components for web-fed printing presses, paper machines, textile machines, and machines for the manufacture of batteries and tires.
To further advance the digital transformation, the company recently introduced an innovative solution for simple and intuitive product configuration in its web shop with the new E+L Configurator. This new online service enables customers to design their individual products for web guiding and web tension control in just a few steps – from the idea to the order.
According to Erhardt+Leimer, the launch of the E+L Configurator marks an important milestone in the company's digital offering. It serves as a central component of the MY E+L platform, which is to be expanded successively. With this move, the Swabian company is responding specifically to the growing demands of its customers, who increasingly expect intuitive, fast, and flexible configuration of their individual solutions.
With this digital service, Erhardt+Leimer says it is setting new standards in the industry. “Today, our customers expect not only high-performance products, but also a simple and fast way to adapt them to their specific requirements. With the E+L Configurator, we offer exactly that – an intuitive, transparent, and efficient solution that revolutionizes the entire ordering process,” says Dr. Michael Proeller, CEO of the Erhardt+Leimer Group.
