FreightHub was founded in 2016 and offers classic forwarding services with digital planning and processing. In the company’s latest Series B financing round , venture fund Rider Global was welcomed as a new investor, together with Maersk Growth. The fresh capital will be used to further develop the digital service offering and to expand the company’s presence in Asia. FreightHub’s business concept is to digitalize processes, from booking and document management through supply chain optimization. More than 1,500 customers are already using the startup’s services.
A wealth of other young entrepreneurs, such as the company Saloodo , which trades as a ‘digital freight platform’, and startup InstaFreight , which is also looking to make its name as a ‘digital freight forwarder’, also see an opportunity in the logistics and freight market.
