The number of particles in fluids is a key indicator of the cleanliness and functionality of a hydraulic system. Even the smallest particles can accelerate wear, impair performance and ultimately cause failures. A particle measurement therefore provides information on whether the hydraulic fluid is within the accepted cleanliness limits. An accurate instrument such as the new LasPaC-3-P particle counter from STAUFF is designed to help monitor the number of particles in fluids and ensure that operating conditions remain optimal.

The LasPaC-3-P is the latest generation of portable particle counters from STAUFF. Thanks to its user-friendly design and portability, the particle counter is suitable for both on-site measurements and use in the laboratory. The versatile areas of application for the LasPaC-3-P include maintenance departments, mobile service teams, OEMs, research institutions and training centers. The output values are evaluated and displayed in accordance with international standards such as ISO 4406, NAS 1638 and SAE AS 4059, making it a reliable tool for professional use.
