Effective remedies for lack of drive
Long waiting times for the perfectly matching drive system were not uncommon recently, because individual solutions often had to be developed first. With the modular drive system from ebm-papst, drive solutions can now be implemented quickly and individually.

In order to be able to cover even higher performance levels in automation in the future, ebm-papst, one of the world's leading manufacturers of fans and motors, is expanding its existing ECI drive series. The new BLDC motors based on the internal rotor principle in protective extra-low voltage (24 or 48 volts DC) with a diameter of 80 millimeters and up to 750 watts of rated power can also be individually assembled into a complete drive system by combining different modules.
Thanks to the standardized interfaces, the individual drive modules can be assembled. Similar to a construction kit, it is possible to assemble the motor online with the appropriate parameters for power, brake, encoder, electronics and planetary, spur or angular gear in a very short time. Housed in a robust metal housing, these systems meet the requirements of IP54 protection as standard. For operation on a remote drive controller, Hall sensors for rotor position detection are currently integrated; further integrable electronic modules such as speed or position controllers, optionally with bus interface, are to follow.
