Siqens GmbH, an established provider of methanol fuel cells and innovative EHS technology for hydrogen separation and purification, is demonstrating at HANNOVER MESSE 2025 how fuel cell and hydrogen technologies are actively driving the energy transition. The focus of the exhibition is the EHS technology (Electrochemical Hydrogen Separation), which enables municipal utilities, for example, to efficiently separate hydrogen from different carrier gases such as natural gas and to ensure a decentralized hydrogen supply.

“HANNOVER MESSE offers a platform with a wide reach for presenting our reliable and economical fuel cell and hydrogen technologies,” emphasizes Dr. Thomas Klaue, CEO of Siqens. He adds: ”Our EHS technology can play a central role in sector coupling, in which electricity, heat and transport are linked. In this way, we contribute to a more sustainable and CO2-reduced energy supply and create the conditions for a flexible, decentralized use of hydrogen.”

In addition, Siqens presents the established Ecoport fuel cells for off-grid, emission-free power generation. “Our fuel cell systems are characterized by their high quality and robustness. They are reliable and work even under the most difficult environmental conditions,” emphasizes Dr. Klaue. The integration of hydrogen technology and fuel cells into urban infrastructures offers municipal utilities enormous opportunities to actively shape the energy transition.
