Universal Robots, the Danish pioneer and market leader in collaborative robotics, is drawing on practical examples to show how companies can use versatile, easily integrated components to meet modern-day challenges head on. Brand new in the UR+ range, and thus making their debut in Hannover, are a plug-and-produce camera from Sensopart and an electric gripper from Dahl, specially designed for collaborative applications. Like all UR+ components, they are both easy to integrate. Software from Octopuz is a further highlight for visitors, offering them the option to program their own applications offline. The apps can then be transferred to a UR robot for a live demonstration. The trade fair presentation is rounded off by a palletizing application, of particular interest for the logistics and packaging sectors, which are increasingly discovering the benefits of collaborative robotics.
