The German Hydrogen Association and Deutsche Messe AG are pleased to announce the finalists of the prestigious H2Eco Award. The award, which recognizes innovative projects in the field of hydrogen technology, has selected three outstanding applicants whose projects could play a decisive role in shaping the future of green energy. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 23 at HANNOVER MESSE.

This year's finalists demonstrate the broad spectrum and innovative potential of hydrogen technology (listed in alphabetical order):

Hylane GmbH – With its unique business model, Hylane exemplifies the practical applicability and marketability of hydrogen-powered fuel cell trucks.

Turneo GmbH – Green hydrogen production and maritime application in Cuxhaven - This project illustrates the innovative combination of local, green hydrogen production and its application in the maritime industry, a significant step for sustainability in shipping and logistics.

VNG AG and consorts with the ENERGY PARK BAD LAUCHSTÄDT - The project embodies a visionary implementation for the future of green hydrogen by developing a comprehensive infrastructure for its production, storage and use.

This year, the H2Eco Award is once again under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and Federal Minister Robert Habeck. This is a clear sign of the political and social importance attached to hydrogen technology in Germany.

A jury of experts selected the finalists based on the high level and innovative strength on offer in the competition for the H2Eco Award. Deutsche Messe AG and the German Hydrogen Association look forward to the upcoming award ceremony and congratulate the finalists on their remarkable achievements.
