Fooling manipulators

So-called void labels are widely known. They leave a visible pattern or message (such as “VOID” or “OPENED”) when removed, making tampering attempts immediately apparent. They are therefore ideal for applications where it is important that a label cannot be removed or replaced unnoticed. A new solution from cab in Karlsruhe is set to take anti-counterfeiting to a whole new level. The CR43 UV thermal transfer ribbon offers security features that are only visible under UV light. This means that the security features are embedded in the thermal transfer ribbon and are automatically transferred when the labels are printed. This method is particularly effective against tampering, as the features are not visible to the naked eye.
As Europe's largest manufacturer of label printing systems, cab's product portfolio includes solutions for labeling individual parts, assemblies, products and packaging. The company's stated goals are healthy global growth, forward-looking technologies, products tailored to user needs, and competent support for all customers. To achieve this, employees at locations in eight countries and more than 800 sales and service partners around the globe are committed to providing the best possible service.
