The powerful axial fans are specially designed for applications in refrigeration and air conditioning technology, such as evaporators, condensers, or chillers, and offer greater air performance and flexible installation options.

High air flow with new sizes

The new AxiBlade.Perform fans are available in sizes with diameters of 860 and 950 millimeters and now enable even higher volume flows. The newly developed plastic wall ring ensures stable air flow and allows use in both delivery directions, i.e., suction or pressure. At the heart of the AxiBlade.Perform fans are efficient impellers made of high-quality composite material. The profiled blade geometry with integrated winglets, guide vanes, and diffuser is designed to achieve high energy efficiency over a wide operating range while maintaining a low noise level.

Flexible installation – well-thought-out features

The plug-and-play design of the fans guarantees quick and easy installation as well as direct one-to-one replacement of the fans. In addition, the new wall ring offers versatile mounting options – whether as a flat top, on the suction or pressure side, in a vertical or horizontal installation position. Other practical features include the side-mounted terminal box, four pressure taps for differential pressure or volume flow measurement, and preparation for the use of a flow grid (FlowGrid), which effectively reduces tonal noise. Optionally, a heating band can be installed in the wall ring to prevent ice formation – especially for use in evaporators.

Intelligent communication and connectivity

AxiBlade.Perform fans support both MODBUS-RTU and ebm papst's NEXAIRA cloud connection. This allows operating data to be recorded and evaluated in real time and used for predictive maintenance – according to Mulfinger, an ideal prerequisite for use in intelligent HVAC systems.

Versatile and future-proof

With IP 55 protection, an operating range from minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius, environmental class H2, and a compact design, the new AxiBlade.Perform fans are designed for a wide range of applications and demanding environmental conditions. They already meet the requirements of the Ecodesign Directive and Fan Regulation 2026, offering a long-term, future-proof solution for OEMs and plant operators.
