Of course it is well known that piping in the chemical industry is not just for water and hot air. However, the requirements for pump systems that come into contact with sometimes highly corrosive chemicals can only be met by a company specialized in the field. Recently WP-ARO began exclusively using pneumatic double-diaphragm pumps from American market leader White Knight’s PSD series. These are being introduced to the German market for the first time at HANNOVER MESSE 2014.

The sealed liquid path in the new PSD double-diaphragm pumps is made entirely of UHMW PTFE. Together with their ice-resistant design, this provides sustained reliable and secure operation when delivering highly corrosive chemicals. Minimal compressed air usage reduces energy and operating costs, and low noise emissions minimize operator fatigue. The pumps in the PSD series are available immediately in 1/2'' (PSD08) and 1'' (PSD16) models with a wide range of optional fittings compatible with various abrasion, temperature and chemical conditions.
