The AWS Global Passport programme is designed to help customers of independent software vendors (ISVs) expand their business internationally. As part of the programme, AWS provides software companies with expert advice, resources and strategic support to accelerate time-to-revenue, reduce risk and maximise return on investment (ROI) as customers pursue new international growth opportunities.
The programme is part of AWS's commitment to helping ISV customers drive business expansion using a powerful cloud technology foundation. By providing access to expertise, services and programmes like Passport, software companies can increase efficiency, grow faster and scale securely, while unleashing the innovation they need to compete globally.
"Software companies today face numerous challenges that can hinder their ability to scale and expand into new regions if they are to accelerate their growth," says Miguel Alava, EMEA GM for software companies at AWS. "AWS has extensive expertise and technical capabilities to help companies accelerate their growth in global markets. We want to provide the resources that enable companies to scale on a robust cloud-first technology base that strengthens their resilience, increases revenue, and reduces their dependence on single markets, so that they can reach more customers and achieve greater impact."
To achieve this, AWS Global Passport makes the full range of AWS resources and AWS partner programmes available to some of the most exciting software companies looking to acquire new customers and accelerate their entry into international markets. The AWS Passport programme selects growing software companies and, according to AWS specialists, provides them with tailored expert advice, resources and strategic guidance to help them overcome the operational hurdles of global expansion.
