The seven pages of VDI/VDE 3714 guidelines published to date span the thematic spectrum, from the fundamentals to data quality and data management, analysis and modelling procedures and validation, through to the online application of data-driven models. VDI 3714 Page 1 addresses the execution of big data projects. The information covers planning the big data application, selecting the methods and tools, as well as the framework conditions and specific requirements. VDI 3714 Page 2 handles the quality of data in big data projects, explains the structure of data-quality descriptions and lists the different dimensions of data quality, such as accessibility, availability, processability, accuracy and information content.
