The " H2Eco Award " will be presented for the first time at HANNOVER MESSE this year. Technical innovativeness, economic efficiency and entrepreneurship as well as the contribution to climate protection are the main evaluation criteria. H2Eco stands for a hydrogen market economy that operates according to the principles of economic efficiency and sustainability. The independent jury has now voted and selected three finalists.

The three best applications include the project "eFarm Nordfriesland" by eFarming GmbH (GP Joule), the project "Conversion of existing trucks and buses to alternative drive systems" by Clean Logistics SE and the project "BLUEPOWER" by Infotec GmbH (FAUN GROUP). This list does not represent a ranking. Only one winner will be chosen from among the three finalists, and this winner will not be announced until the official awards ceremony.

The award ceremony will take place on May 31, 2022 during HANNOVER MESSE 2022 on the stage of the Energy 4.0 Forum in Hall 12 under the patronage of Robert Habeck, Federal Minister of Economics and Climate Protection. The winner will receive the H2Eco Award and prize money of 5,000 euros. The prize money will be donated to the Embassy of Ukraine for use in projects to rebuild energy infrastructures and energy supply.
