However, when transporting the volatile fuel – for example in buses, trucks or work machines – special requirements in terms of safety and reliability must be met. HYDAC's innovative solution “HY-ROS H2 Mount Smart” takes this special circumstance into account.

HYDAC claims that its sensor-based clamp for hydrogen tanks is the first of its kind in the world and that it makes an innovative contribution to the safety of hydrogen vehicles by enabling reliable real-time monitoring of the tank mounting. The preventive approach, comparable to a tire pressure monitoring system, continuously provides data on the condition and integrity of the mounting solution, whereby any deviations can be detected early and appropriate measures can be initiated.
