How professional knowledge is made easily available
Hallo Welt! was founded to enable professional users to access the technologies and concepts of Wikipedia. Since 2007, collaborative knowledge platforms for companies have been created in this way – and with them, in particular, solutions for knowledge management, online documentation and quality management systems.

Hallo Welt! GmbH, based in Regensburg, is the company behind BlueSpice, an open-source wiki software for businesses that has been downloaded over 1,000,000 times in more than 160 countries. The young company consistently focuses on open source and is now one of the world's leading supporters of MediaWiki.
When Hallo Welt! was founded in 2007, the focus was already on utilizing the technologies and concepts of Wikipedia for a business application. Since 2010, the company has been developing and perfecting its core product BlueSpice for operating professional wikis in companies and organizations. BlueSpice thus incorporates 15 years of development work, a strong understanding of the MediaWiki basis and knowledge of the needs of companies.
Hallo Welt! GmbH sees its work as a contribution to a future in which people can openly exchange experiences, expand their knowledge and collaboratively shape the future. Open-source software and free knowledge are, according to Hallo Welt!, the prerequisite for the development of new ideas and standards. At HANNOVER MESSE 2025, interested parties can find out about the current capabilities of BlueSpice.
