Ideentag will take place on April 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Expert Stage in the SOLUTION LAB Research & Technology Transfer (Hall 11, Booth B69) and offers an inspiring program for companies, startups, and organizations interested in future-oriented skills, innovation culture, and new forms of collaboration.

Focus on Leadership, AI, and Innovation Culture

The Idea Day will be opened by Michael Kiesewetter, CEO of NBank. The keynote by Prof. Dr. Sabine Remdisch (Leuphana University of Lüneburg) will provide particular depth of content; under the title “Leadership in an AI-Driven World,” she will demonstrate what modern leadership can look like in an AI-supported work environment.

Following this, experts from academia, diplomacy, and the business world will discuss the topic “Rethinking Leadership & Culture – What Does This Mean for Organizations and People?” in a panel discussion. The discussion will focus on the concrete changes AI is bringing about in everyday work—and which competencies organizations must develop today to remain successful.

Insights from Industrial Practice

Using a practical example from technology development, INLEAP Photonics demonstrates how dual-use innovations can be transferred from research to security-critical applications. In this way, the Ideas Day offers insight into real innovation pathways, technology deployment, and cross-industry collaboration.

Interactive Themed Tables: From Inspiration to Implementation

The second part of the Idea Day is dedicated to active exchange: In three moderated rounds, participants at themed tables will discuss the following key topics, among others:

  • AI in SMEs: Creating value through data-driven decision-making processes
  • Additive Manufacturing & Lasers: From prototyping to series production
  • Industrial data rooms & data sovereignty
  • Successfully implementing ideas: “From Idea to Impact”
  • Silicon Valley mindset & innovation culture
  • AI & humans: Reducing complexity, strengthening the ability to act
  • These formats provide practical insights, concrete solutions, and valuable networking across industries.
