Implement handling and positioning processes in the smallest of spaces
The advantages of the PSK precision module series from Bosch Rexroth are now available for even more applications thanks to a new version with a belt cover.

The PSK precision series from Bosch Rexroth is a family of highly dynamic and rigid linear axes (precision modules) with ball screws, which were developed for fast, precise positioning and handling tasks in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing to ensure maximum accuracy and reliability. These modules are characterized by high rigidity, speed, and precision. Bosch Rexroth is now expanding the precision series with a new variant featuring a belt cover. This means that highly dynamic handling and positioning processes can now be reliably implemented in even the smallest of spaces, even in less clean manufacturing processes such as laser cutting. Three sizes, a flexible lubrication concept, and other options are designed to open up an even wider range of applications, while digital engineering and simple assembly shorten time-to-market.
According to Bosch Rexroth, the PSK precision modules, which are delivered ready for installation, simplify integration, shorten cycle times, and ensure consistently high manufacturing quality. The basis is a highly rigid precision steel profile with integrated guideways, which has high moments of inertia despite its compact dimensions. The result: precise and dynamic movement, feeding, or lifting of components, as well as exact positioning of tools or cameras for optical inspection.
With the belt cover, the PSK series can also be used in environments with particle emissions. The encapsulated linear system is designed to prove itself in laser cutting, among other applications, where it takes over the exact height adjustment of the laser head in the Z-axis and reliably separates movement and machining processes from each other. Other options include magnetic sensors that can be adjusted over the entire travel range, as well as various lubrication solutions. In addition to basic lubrication, a preserved version for individual greases is also available. Furthermore, there are different motor mounting variants to choose from – including belt drives for Rexroth motors or other NEMA-compatible servo and stepper motors.
Selection and design are quick and easy using the LinSelect eTool. Once the module and drive technology have been configured online, the customized solution is available to order directly from the Rexroth shop. Documentation and CAD data can be downloaded immediately. The ordered variant can be reordered using the unique material number without the need for reconfiguration.
