Industrial Drone Arena at HANNOVER MESSE
For the first time, visitors to HANNOVER MESSE will experience various drone solutions for logistics and industry. In Hall 3 at Stand K47, startups, companies and research institutes will demonstrate the benefit that drones bring to the value chain. The VDMA, supported by Deutsche Messe AG, is therefore bringing flying robots to HANNOVER MESSE 2020.11 Feb. 2020
The industry is still relatively young, but the market for commercial UAV applications is growing. According to a market study conducted by the German Air Transport Association (BDL) and the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI), the German UAV market alone will grow from 574 million euros to nearly 3 billion euros by 2030 – driven primarily by the commercial market. That is why HANNOVER MESSE is giving the young industry the opportunity to present their concepts and visions in the Industrial Drone Arena.
The application examples on display range from inventory, material flow and transport tasks to inspection, monitoring and surveying solutions. Throughout the entire week of the fair, visitors will be able to see the drones in action on the flying field. "Drones hold enormous potential for optimizing industrial and logistical processes. We are therefore delighted to offer this high-tech technology a prominent stage at the upcoming HANNOVER MESSE," says Krister Sandvoss, Global Director Industries & Logistics at Deutsche Messe AG.
