Submissions were evaluated by an independent expert jury. Based on defined criteria, the winners were selected in the following categories:

The jury consisted of representatives from industry, technology companies, and investment organizations, including STMicroelectronics, Siemens, Würth Elektronik, VDMA, encourageventures, HTGF, and ExciteLab GmbH.

In addition to the category awards, the Top 13 Techpreneurs 2026 were named. The recognized companies include AEInnova, Viimatech Digital Ltd, Neuron Soundware, Continuum Innovation GmbH, CaPow, General Robotics, TacnIQ.ai, BxC Security, and QuantiCor Security GmbH. The selection reflects the current range of developments in areas such as automation, artificial intelligence, and industrial security.

The Innovation World Cup® is part of the HANNOVER MESSE program and offers participating companies a platform to showcase their technologies in an international industrial setting. At the same time, the event facilitates exchange between start-ups, established companies, and investors.
