The new frameless motors in the new cyber kit line medium from Igersheim are available in compact sizes with external diameters of 100 and 112 millimetres - as well as in three different lengths of 30, 60 and 120 millimetres. A PT1000 and a PTC temperature sensor are always integrated for thermal overload protection and constant temperature monitoring of the drives. The modular motor system also offers particular design flexibility thanks to the choice between small and large hollow shafts as well as voltage variants for 60 VDC and 600 VDC/750 VDC. In addition, the cyber kit line medium is not only compatible with the cyber simco drive 2 servo controller from WITTENSTEIN cyber motor, but also with common drive controllers worldwide.
Thanks to the wide range of possible variants, the modularly configurable frameless motors in the cyber kit line medium offer a high degree of adaptability to specific tasks and operating conditions. This opens up numerous innovative design options for highly dynamic drive solutions in OEM machines. The motors, which can also be used as direct drives, have no housing or bearings. According to WITTENSTEIN, their compact dimensions and reduced mass make them perfect for direct and space-saving installation in machines. Thanks to the hollow shaft concept, cable, compressed air, vacuum, fiber optic and laser feed-throughs, for example for gripping elements or sensors, can be implemented in a visually elegant way and in a small installation space. In the application, the housingless servomotors should also impress with top values in terms of torque density and dynamics.
