FLUIDON Gesellschaft für Fluidtechnik mbH, based in Aachen, Germany, was founded in 1995 as a spin-off of the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Controls (IFAS) at RWTH Aachen University. SaaS development platform for medium-sized companies

At HANNOVER MESSE 2025, the Aachen-based company is presenting FLUIDON CUBE, a SaaS development platform that offers medium-sized companies easy access to modern CAE tools. Based on open-source toolkits, CUBE also provides users with little experience in this field with an intuitive introduction to the simulation of complex technical systems. The platform supports parameterizable workflows that automatically test system properties using simulations or automatically evaluate data, allowing users to focus on interpreting the results.

Integration of digital twins

In addition to technical tasks, CUBE supports the integration of digital twins from different simulation tools through an FMU plug-in (FMU – Functional Mock-Up Units). Thanks to flexible combinations of the FMU plug-in and user-defined Python scripts, the platform is designed to be versatile and promote collaborative development. Teams can collaborate internally and externally, while specialists can provide their solutions as services in the form of CUBE plug-ins.

European data centers

As a SaaS solution, CUBE offers economic advantages such as low entry costs, scalability, intuitive user interfaces and high availability. Data is stored exclusively in European data centers, ensuring security and data protection. In addition, CUBE supports common interfaces for communicating with external devices or data sources.
