It knows what it's doing
The automated electric tow tractors from Götting KG in Lower Saxony are setting new standards in efficiency, flexibility and safety, according to their designers. Developed to meet the constantly changing requirements of modern production facilities, Götting's AGVs are set to do nothing less than revolutionize material transport in companies.

Humans are intelligent beings, even if they don't always behave that way. They are able to recognize complex processes and react quickly to changing situations. Their visual and acoustic perception, for example in road traffic, is enormous. However, he usually tires quickly and his reactions increasingly suffer as a result. Accidents and damage during transportation are also almost always caused by human error. This is why transport systems need to be developed that relieve or even completely replace the driver. With the automated electric tug P250, which Götting KG will be presenting at HANNOVER MESSE 2024, the company from Lower Saxony aims to set new standards in terms of efficiency, flexibility and safety in the field of automated transport systems and thus meet the constantly changing requirements of modern production facilities.
Less need for manual material transport
With a load of up to 25 tons and autonomous coupling and uncoupling, the automated P250 can noticeably reduce the need for manual material transport - around the clock, precisely and reliably. Götting's AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) thus optimize the material flow and increase production speed. The advanced control technology and compatibility with VDA 5050 - a standard interface for communication between automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and a master control system - enables the P250 to function reliably at all times, regardless of the master control system used.
Seamless adaptation to different environments
According to Götting, the P250 adapts seamlessly to different environments, whether in production, warehousing or logistics. Thanks to its intelligent sensors, it is said to independently detect obstacles, employees and other vehicles in real time, resulting in safe and smooth operation.
Certified safety standards protect people and goods
Thanks to its intelligent equipment, the P250 easily meets the high safety standards and safety certifications for AGVs. Götting has carefully reviewed all aspects of the design and functionality to ensure that they not only meet operational requirements, but also create a safe environment for all employees.
