With two world-class events, HANNOVER MESSE and CeMAT, happening at the same time and place, the synergies are almost bound to fire off between Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0. Both events share the same vision of autonomous transportation equipment, intelligent warehouse automation and self-optimizing material flow planning leading to largely self-organizing logistic processes in the future. This is where both artificial intelligence and highly innovative AutoID technologies really come into their own, by enabling raw materials, products and packaging to control their own intralogistic processes - from manufacturing right through to readying for dispatch. Which is precisely why Bluhm Systeme GmbH, an end-to-end supplier of cross-sector labeling solutions, has chosen HANNOVER MESSE to exhibit its future-focused systems and solutions for the manufacturing sector and Logistics 4.0.
The spotlight is on high-performance Legi-Air labeling machines. Reaching extraordinary speeds of up to 2,250 cycles per hour, the Legi-Air 6000 can label differently sized cartons with total precision during production runs. Its stablemate, the Legi-Air 4050 P pallet applicator, offers a host of advantages in terms of speed, reliability, scope of application, size and serviceability thanks to its modular design. Or for a quick and cost-effective alternative to labeling, what about direct inkjet printing? The high-performance Markoprint X4JET plus Touch print controller enables cartons and trays to be printed with font sizes ranging from less than one millimeter right up to 400. The X4JET can centrally control printing technology from four different ink manufacturers and enables primary and secondary packaging to be printed at the same time. Last but not least, laser marking systems offer yet another alternative. The e-SolarMark applies permanent, clearly legible and forgery-proof labels to products and components made of paper, plastic, glass or metal. What’s more, thanks to its compact dimensions, the e-SolarMark can be easily integrated into existing systems or testing machinery.
