Under the motto "Portugal Makes Sense", Europe's western outpost is the partner country for HANNOVER MESSE 2022. For the Swabian Pilz Group, as a global supplier of products, systems and services for automation technology, this was a welcome occasion to invite our colleagues from Pilz Portugal and celebrate with them the 20th anniversary of the subsidiary in Porto. But even though this is a very nice occasion - it is by no means the only reason for the family-run company's return to the Hanover exhibition centre after two years of absence due to Corona: the Swabians also have a number of product premieres in their luggage.

For the efficient safeguarding of safety gates, for example, Pilz is showing new components for the modular safety gate system at the exhibition. With these Pilz is once again expanding the options for flexible combinations, to suit the customer's specific requirements. The components now range from safety gate sensors, door handle modules and escape releases through to the diagnostic system and the appropriate evaluation unit. With the new components, users should also benefit from flexible mounting options, fast installation and configuration, and simple operation and diagnostics.
