Michael Koch, a supplier of active DC power management systems and safe braking resistors based in Ubstadt-Weiher in the Baden region of Germany, and ControlEng, a manufacturer of simulation programs for electric servo drive systems based in Toronto, Canada, are exhibiting together at HANNOVER MESSE 2025. This not only demonstrates Koch's international commitment, but also vividly demonstrates the link to this year's partner country of the trade fair. The Canadians will be presenting the latest version of their high-precision Servosoft design program in Hannover, which can also integrate active energy management systems and safe braking resistors from Koch into electric drive systems of any degree of complexity.

ControlEng values this special opportunity to present itself to visitors in the field of electric drive technology. “We have had very good experiences with Michael Koch at other trade fairs as well. It's a perfect fit that my home country of Canada is this year's partner country at HANNOVER MESSE,” explains Christian Vardin, CEO of ControlEng. ‘Reliable design and simulation of our products in conjunction with the drive systems has always been the basis for our quotations,’ says Fabian Hofmann, COO of Koch, adding: ”We have been working closely together since ControlEng was founded over 20 years ago. We complement each other with our drive technology know-how and are very pleased to be able to show the results of our collaboration at HANNOVER MESSE!”

The company is also presenting a colorful array of several new active energy management devices, safe braking resistors and software tools. “We rarely have so many new products at a trade show. We hope that they will provide a positive impetus for industry despite the tense outlook for many sectors,” says Hofmann optimistically.
