An electricity meter that can be installed within half a minute without tools, a mobile app that enables remote configurations and the smallest three-phase meter on the market - these are just the key innovations that inepro Metering from Nieuw Vennep in the Netherlands will be presenting at HANNOVER MESSE 2023. For the company, which was founded in 1992 and is one of Europe's market leaders for electricity meters, it is also a small anniversary, because this year they will be taking part in the leading trade fair for industrial technology for the tenth time.

Lightning-fast, tool-free installation

To underpin the status it has achieved and to meet today's market requirements, inepro Metering has developed the innovative Ambition range. The line consists of three different three-phase meters - each equipped with high measurement accuracy and smart features - designed to make installation as efficient as possible. For example, WAGO Push-in CAGE CLAMPS are used throughout the line, which are designed to enable skilled electricians to perform installations in just 30 seconds, all without tools.

Everything is better with Bluetooth

In addition, inepro Metering has integrated various communication options for reading the meters. In addition to data collection via M-Bus, Modbus, S0 interface or UART port, the meters have a contemporary Bluetooth interface and associated IOS and Android applications that enable remote programming and configuration. As with inepro Metering's previous meters, the entire Ambition range complies with the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID), which guarantees accurate measurements and enables the use of metering for billing purposes.

Meter as small as a credit card

The smallest three-phase meter ever launched will also be celebrating a real premiere in Hanover. The PRO380-Compact is currently in the final stages of development, and visitors to the inepro Metering stand will be able to get their first exclusive glimpse of this technical gem from 17 to 21 April 2023. This three-phase meter with Modbus is just 10 x 6 x 2 centimetres in size, yet it has all the specifications you would expect from a powerful meter. Thanks to its dimensions, the meter should actually find a place to be mounted in any application. In addition to the PRO380-Compact, inepro will be showing a number of other innovations at HANNOVER MESSE that are still under development. For example, the prototype of a TCP/IP module as well as DC and calibration meters.
