MES solution for Alfa Laval
Alfa Laval has invested significantly in Industry 4.0 projects as part of its smart manufacturing program. The MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) solution from Critical Manufacturing MES improves efficiency and quality and enables effective collection and analysis of large amounts of data in the areas of IoT, products and production processes.

The MES implementation begins with a main model installation, which covers all functions and requirements from various Alfa Laval Group locations. The system rollout begins at a pilot site in Eskilstuna, Sweden, but the full scope of the MES solution will encompass factories around the world.
MES is an important topic at HANNOVER MESSE, which annually hosts the MES Conference. The association for Germany’s electrical and electronics industry (ZVEI) will stage the 2021 event on 15 April in a hybrid format that focuses on innovators and their digital projects.
