Myriam Erath receives the Young Engineer Woman Award
Myriam Erath is setting new standards with her innovative AI technology and her commitment to young female engineers – in recognition of which she receives the Young Engineer Woman Award 2025.

Myriam Erath was honored with the Young Engineer Woman Award for her outstanding contributions to digital transformation in the industry. The award ceremony took place on April 4 as part of the FEMWORX Careers Congress. The award recognizes young female engineers who are helping to shape the future of technology with innovative ideas and exceptional commitment.
The award was presented by Angelique Mesch, Green Hydrogen Pursuit Lead at Schneider Electric SE, and Dr. Kamila Klug, Director of Business Development, Material Solutions at Altair – both members of the FEMWORX Advisory Board. A jury selected Myriam Erath for her innovative solutions in the field of AI-supported process automation.
The mechatronics engineer specializing in socioinformatics has been the honorary head of the "Young Engineers" working group at the Association of German Engineers (VDI) since 2016, and a board member of the Emsland/Osnabrück District Association since 2024. Her entrepreneurial vision became apparent in 2024 with the founding of Erath-CWO and CWO GmbH, which are developing an AI-based solution for automating ordering processes in the engineering industry. Her technology enables the seamless integration of unstructured purchase orders into ERP systems, and offers enormous efficiency gains, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. She will also publish a scientific paper on current developments in the IT sector in 2025.
With her combination of technological expertise and socio-technical approach, Myriam Erath is a driving force for digitalization and technological progress in the industry. The Young Engineer Woman Award and the Engineer Woman Award emphasize the importance of women in technical professions, promoting the recognition of their achievements in STEM disciplines.

The 22nd Careers Congress took place as part of HANNOVER MESSE.
