Unveiled at the OWL joint stand at HANNOVER MESSE 2022, the AI Marketplace is a unique ecosystem to date that aims to bring together AI experts, provider and user companies to realize the full potential of artificial intelligence. In addition, the AI Marketplace serves as a platform that aims to provide a secure space for data exchange and data sovereignty, in addition to intelligent matching of AI service providers and companies. Existing AI solutions can be obtained via an integrated app store, while further options are offered by an AI construction kit system that enables small and medium-sized companies to create AI applications themselves and integrate them into their processes thanks to the "plug and play" principle, without having to hire a service provider.

The AI marketplace is supported by a project consortium of research institutions, networks and companies, which are thus making an important contribution to securing the competitiveness of the industry and at the same time significantly increasing Germany's global visibility in the field of artificial intelligence. In addition, the project will be funded from January 2020 to December 2022 in the innovation competition "Artificial Intelligence as a Driver for Economically Relevant Ecosystems" of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).
