Viscom SE, based in Hanover, has now unveiled its latest AI-powered inspection solutions for electronics manufacturing. Thanks to innovative AOI and AXI systems combined with artificial intelligence, inspection processes are set to be accelerated, automated, and sustainably optimized in the future.
At the heart of the presented solutions is Viscom’s AI portfolio vAI, which aims to redefine quality assurance in electronics production. The intelligent software solutions enable automated image processing, AI-supported verification, and efficient use of process and inspection data. The goal is to reduce manual effort and ensure consistently high inspection quality. The new software feature vAI ProVision deserves special attention. According to Viscom, the AI-based solution significantly simplifies the creation of 3D AOI and 3D AXI inspection programs. By integrating artificial intelligence into the vVision software, inspection plans are expected to be generated and optimized almost automatically in the future—quickly, reliably, and with minimal user effort.
