Digitalization opens up enormous opportunities for companies—at the same time, selecting the right business software is becoming increasingly challenging. At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, Trovarit AG will be in Hall 15 (Booth C13) to demonstrate how companies can methodically validate their software decisions and make selection processes significantly more efficient: through Trovarit’s core consulting business focused on the selection and implementation of ERP and MES solutions, as well as through the further development of the AI-powered online service smartRFI. As a special trade fair service, Trovarit is also offering daily guided tours on ERP, MES, and CRM.
Ensuring sound decisions, successfully managing implementations
ERP and MES projects are among the most complex undertakings in companies—both technically and organizationally. For many years, Trovarit has been supporting client companies in implementing the selection and rollout of business software in a structured, transparent, and results-oriented manner. The focus is on a robust requirements foundation, a transparent comparison of suitable solutions, and the reduction of typical project risks—from decision preparation through to implementation.
From checklists to AI-powered requirements gathering through dialogue
The market for business software is vast and highly differentiated in many areas. Especially when it comes to specialized solutions and lesser-known software categories, research quickly becomes a search for a needle in a haystack—and the decisive hurdle often lies right at the start: How can a task be described in such a way that it can be precisely researched and compared within the software market? With smartRFI, Trovarit introduced an AI-powered service in 2025 that supports user companies in making a qualified selection of vendors: capture requirements, create a request, send it to a suitable distribution list—and receive comparable responses via a structured platform. The AI assistant TIA provided support, among other things, with methodological questions and the creation of request documents.
The AI-powered service smartRFI Gen2 now addresses precisely this upstream core task: the collection and refinement of the requirements profile. Instead of entering requirements via a checklist, Gen2 guides users through an AI-powered, structured dialogue format. TIA asks follow-up questions, refines terminology, clarifies project scope and framework conditions—and “translates” the described task into market logic from which suitable software categories and robust requirements can be derived. This makes the subsequent market research more targeted, and the requests clearer and easier for vendors to answer. Support in creating the RFI documentation remains an integral part of the service.
“Research and inquiries significantly more precise”
“Many companies know exactly what they want to improve from a technical standpoint—but not always how to phrase it in a way that makes it clearly searchable and comparable in the software market,” explains Dr. Volker Liestmann, CEO of Trovarit AG. “With smartRFI Gen2, TIA guides users through a dialogue to arrive at a robust set of requirements and translates the task into a market perspective. This makes research and inquiries significantly more precise—and the results ultimately more reliable.”
Guided Tours: ERP, MES, and CRM in Direct Comparison
As a special trade show service, Trovarit is once again organizing Guided Tours in 2026. During these guided tours, participants visit three to four exhibitors over the course of 2.5 hours, where the exhibitors present their solutions based on a given task. This ensures better comparability and a realistic impression of the look and feel—with live system demonstrations instead of PowerPoint.
The Guided Tours start and end at the Trovarit booth and are free of charge for trade show visitors from user companies. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of ten people per tour; as a rule, up to two people per company are accommodated. Registration is required.
