No More Silos
Over the past ten years, iTAC has evolved from an MES provider into a global MOM ecosystem and, as part of an international group, is driving the end-to-end digitalization of production—from planning and the shop floor to AI-driven optimization.

Today, the digital transformation of industrial production processes requires more than just individual software modules. What is needed are integrated systems that seamlessly connect equipment, data, and processes across all levels. For ten years now, iTAC Software AG from Montabaur has been part of the Dürr Group and, as an MES/MOM specialist, supports the group’s digital strategy. Together, iTAC and Dürr develop solutions for networked, transparent, and efficient production. In doing so, iTAC Software AG has evolved from a traditional Manufacturing Execution System (MES) specialist into a leading Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) provider with an ecosystem across various industries.
Customers receive comprehensive support
“Dürr and iTAC are constantly working on software solutions aimed at increasing plant availability and sustainability or saving time,” notes Dr. Jochen Weyrauch, CEO of Dürr AG. “We combine our digital expertise with in-depth knowledge of production processes to help our customers future-proof their entire production operations.” The goal of the joint digital strategy is to provide customers with comprehensive support in digitizing their manufacturing—from the shop floor level to the data-driven optimization of entire production networks. iTAC contributes software expertise and a deep understanding of industrial manufacturing processes to the development of modern MOM solutions.
MOM as a Central Building Block of the Digital Factory
Dürr is consolidating its digital expertise across the Group and developing cross-divisional solutions for networked production—ranging from plant integration and MES and MOM systems to AI-powered analytics and maintenance applications. Within this portfolio, the MOM system forms a central foundation for transparency, controllability, and efficiency in manufacturing.
For ten years, iTAC has played a key role in the Dürr Group in the development of scalable and integrated manufacturing management solutions. The iTAC.MOM.Suite controls and optimizes production processes, supports detailed planning via an integrated Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system, and links production management, logistics, material flow, and maintenance in a seamless system.
Standardized, Group-wide MOM
In addition, the Dürr Group has implemented the “OneMES Strategy” in collaboration with iTAC. A standardized, group-wide MOM was developed for the production sites within the Dürr Group, which maps manufacturing digitally and in real time and serves as a best-practice reference for the rollout of comparable structures in other mechanical engineering companies.
From MES Provider to Global MOM Ecosystem
As mentioned above, since becoming part of Dürr, iTAC has consistently evolved from a traditional MES specialist into a provider of a broad, internationally positioned MOM ecosystem. To this end, iTAC has integrated several companies into the group as subsidiaries over the years—expanding the portfolio both technologically and geographically. For example, DUALIS strengthens expertise in APS and simulation, thereby complementing operational production control with robust planning and detailed scheduling. Since 2021, Cogiscan has been expanding capabilities—particularly in electronics manufacturing—around machine connectivity, track & trace, and analytics, building on an already strongly international customer base. Accevo, a company belonging to the Dürr Group, complements the iTAC portfolio with software for the process industry and brings additional international project experience, including in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and FMCG sectors.
Integrated service offering across the entire value chain
This consolidation creates an integrated service offering across the entire production value chain—from planning and connectivity through MOM/MES to data-driven optimizations. At the same time, iTAC continues to grow globally as part of Dürr: new markets can be addressed more quickly, international rollouts implemented more efficiently, and customers worldwide served more consistently.
