The technology and DAX-listed GEA Group has honoured Bürkert Fluid Control Systems with the 2025 Supplier of the Year Award in the Innovation category, an award that GEA presents annually to a particularly innovative partner. The company is thus recognising Bürkert's close cooperation and outstanding achievements. The award ceremony took place at the end of November 2025 in Amsterdam as part of the Annual Supplier Summit, an exclusive event for suppliers. Representatives from Bürkert accepted the award in person.

The award honours Bürkert's proactive initiatives in terms of total cost of ownership initiatives for cost optimisation and for supporting GEA in the development of new applications, such as the ‘New Food’ test centres in the USA and Germany. ‘Particular emphasis was placed on Bürkert's strategic orientation, which ideally complements GEA's long-term goals and future plans,’ explains Denis Cougnet, Corporate Key Account Manager at Bürkert for the GEA Group. Both companies pursued similar priorities such as innovation, efficiency and sustainability – an ideal basis for successful further cooperation and the development of the partnership.

Bürkert CSO Roman Gaida emphasises: ‘For us, close cooperation with our customers and partners is central. Our strategic focus on digital services, automation and sustainability, or rather a regenerative economy, forms the basis for this. It is precisely here that we want to set new standards together with key customers such as GEA. The award shows that we are on the right track with this focus.
