Partner Country aims to revolutionize the isolator industry
As a result of decades of research, development and product design, ASAInsuTrack707+ from ASAsoft in this year's partner country Canada helps to modernize networks by efficiently testing various types of distribution isolators. The main beneficiaries will be utilities, as well as manufacturers and product designers using modern materials, methods and Industry 4.0 principles.

ASAsoft is a company based in Canada, the partner country of HANNOVER MESSE 2025. It develops cutting-edge power transmission and distribution solutions designed to complement existing electrical infrastructure for utilities, railways and urban transit.
While traditional isolator technologies are still firmly anchored in the industry, advances in manufacturing and materials technology are set to revolutionize the isolator industry – also in terms of operating conditions, system loads and the effects of climate change. For example, traditional porcelain isolators are heavy, absorb moisture and can develop hairline cracks over time. ASAsoft has therefore developed polymer insulators that are lighter, more versatile and much more sustainable. These are properties that have a positive impact from both an ecological and an economic point of view.
The exhibits presented in Hannover are likely to include the ASAInsuTrack707+, a fully automatic tracking wheel that meets the IEC 62217 and CSA 156.1 standards. ASAInsuTrack707+ uses a revolutionary, efficient design and is used to test various types of distribution insulators (15 to 35 kilovolts), including dead-end insulators, as well as station and transmission line poles. In addition, it also supports disconnectors with rated voltages between 15 and 28 kilovolts. ASAInsuTrack707+ is a versatile and modern test platform for product validation, accelerated life testing and isolator performance verification. ASAInsuTrack707+ is fully designed, developed and manufactured in Canada.
