WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG, based in Klingenberg in Lower Franconia, is a German, internationally active family business that primarily manufactures pressure and temperature measurement technology and has proven to be an industry innovator. The new TF-2000 cable temperature probe, for example, provides reliable temperature values for refrigeration, heating and heat pumps. The temperature probe can withstand frequent changes between dew and freezing points without any problems, because the measuring element is dustproof and waterproof and encapsulated in plastic. In addition, quick-mounting clamps enable time-saving installation. The thermometer can be mechanically stabilized using a CrNi steel sleeve. This ensures increased measurement reliability in buffer storage tanks for heating and hot water, for example.
With an IP68 rating, the TF-2000 is completely sealed. Even without an optional probe sleeve, neither condensation nor water vapor can penetrate the measuring element. This minimizes the risk of failures, ensures measurement accuracy, optimizes service life and protects investments. The TF-2000 with brass square sleeve can be mounted in seconds using quick-mounting clamps, without the need for soldered copper tubes. This saves time and money when equipping devices that have multiple temperature measurement points. The brass design of the square sleeve ensures good heat conduction and prevents contact corrosion. There is no need to apply heat-conducting paste – without sacrificing accuracy and response time.
