Perspectives for successful decarbonization
This year's HANNOVER MESSE will focus on pioneering topics such as CO2-neutral production, artificial intelligence and hydrogen. At the joint stand of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, the Competence Center for Climate Protection in Energy-Intensive Industries will be providing information on the possibilities of an industrial transformation towards climate neutrality.

The Competence Center for Climate Protection in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI), based in Cottbus, is a project management agency and think tank that supports all players involved in industrial processes in the transformation towards climate neutrality. As the operator of the coordination office of the Decarbonization of Industry Cluster, the KEI promotes competitive solutions for successful industrial transformation. From 22 to 26 April 2024, the KEI will also be present at HANNOVER MESSE for the first time with a stand and invites all interested parties to come and discuss the future topics of industrial decarbonization.
The daily program of the Kei will be supplemented by a panel discussion and a specialist lecture. The former is scheduled for the opening day, April 22, from 09:20 to 10:00 a.m. in Hall 3 on the Industrial Stage. The topic of the discussion is: "Perspectives for decarbonization: practical examples and technologies from energy-intensive industries".
The specialist lecture "The Competence Center for Climate Protection in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI) - How we support the transformation" will inform visitors to HANNOVER MESSE 2024 on April 24 from 14:00 to 14:20. The lecture will be held at the BMWK joint stand A18 in Hall 2.
