Thanks to large firms such as Asseco and Comarch, this segment grew over 170 percent within the past five years. Business services are also undergoing dynamic development, including research and development. In 2015, this 4 bn zloty export category was 130 percent greater than in 2010. Major IT companies such as Google, SAP, and Microsoft have research and development centers in the country, which has gained international recognition as an R&D service provider.

The National Center of Research & Development (NCBR), an executive agency of the Polish Ministry of Science and Education, is coordinating the country's appearance in Hall 2.
