The focal points are industrial supply, IT and software for industry, and the energy sector – areas where Portugal and Germany share many synergies and potential for new partnerships.

According to Pedro Siza Vieira, Portugal’s Minister of Economy, country’s selection as Partner Country dovetails with reindustrialization in Europe – where Portugal and Germany can play important roles. Vieira: “HANNOVER MESSE 2022 will strengthen cooperation between Portuguese and German companies through the development of new projects.”
