With the new HELUCHAIN PLASTIC LINK 4-45, HELUKABEL, based in Hemmingen, Swabia, is expanding its portfolio of energy chain systems with a stable and high-performance energy chain that has been specially designed for demanding industrial applications. According to HELUKABEL, the chain impresses with its simple installation and smooth running, and can be used flexibly for numerous applications.
The HELUCHAIN PLASTIC LINK 4-45 has an internal height of 45 millimeters and an internal width of up to 400 millimeters. It therefore covers a wide range of applications – from classic mechanical engineering, intralogistics, and material handling to applications in packaging and vehicle technology as well as indoor crane operations.
A key feature of the energy chain is its stable, quadruple stop system. This ensures a long unsupported length and supports long-lasting, reliable energy transfer – even with dynamic movements and high loads. The combination of snap pins and rear grips enables the chain links to be connected robustly, significantly increasing stability under lateral loads. Easy handling is guaranteed.
Polygon-optimized bending radii contribute to improved running smoothness and significantly reduce operating noise – an advantage that should not be underestimated, especially in noise-sensitive environments. Another plus point is the design with inner and outer plates, which ensures safe straight running and allows the chain's pretension to be adjusted.
HELUKABEL has also paid particular attention to the ease of installation of the chain. The frame bars can be opened and closed again with ease, which significantly reduces maintenance and installation times. The modular divider system is also flexible and practical: the surrounding dividers ensure a secure hold and allow the chain to be opened on both sides for access to the cables. With shelf shelves that can be varied in height and width up to five times, users can customize the interior layout to suit their cable and hose routing.
Optimized sliding surfaces are available for applications involving sliding movements. In addition, optionally integrable strain relief elements—for example, in the form of U-clamps or horn bars—ensure additional safety during operation.
