Powerful drones tug heavy loads
Researchers at Stanford University in the US and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne have developed new drones that can land on vertical surfaces, turn door handles, and remove obstructions.

The drones – called ‘FlyCroTug’ – are suitable for both industrial applications and rescue operations. They feature an attachment mechanism, which enables them to land cleanly almost anywhere.
